Underrail oddity or classic. It's a good, fun system for character advancement. If you're someone who likes to explore every nook and cranny, do every sidequest and kill all the mobs you come across the oddity system still rewards that - Mobs drop oddities based on their mob From what I understand the oddity system is the prefered system by the dev, but I personally like classic. If anything, I think other RPGs could take a cue from the Oddity system. The game is balanced for Oddity. Oddity feels generally more rewarding, and less like a grind. 667 levels (all other experience, like from quests, held constant between the two).
